Security Flow Analysis
  • A type of security analysis performed on a nonprocedural formal system specification which locates potential flows of information between system variables. By assigning security levels to system variables, many indirect information channels can be identified. Security flow analysis defines a security model similar to the access control model (Bell La Padula) but with a finer protection granularity. (MTR-8201)
